TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DEPOSIT
All bookings made directly with the property are
secured with a 20% deposit at the time of booking with
the balance due on check-in. We accept Visa,
MasterCard, American Express (3% surcharge) and Cash.
BOND
We require a $100 pre-authorisation of your credit
card at check-in as a bond, for any incidentals or
damage caused. Depending on your bank, the
pre-authorisation will release from your credit card
3-4 business days from check-in.
CANCELLATIONS & AMENDMENTS
More than 30 days notice of scheduled arrival date:
Booking deposit is refundable or transferable, less an
administration fee ($50 + commissions and costs)
7 to 29 days notice of scheduled arrival time: We will
refund your holding deposit minus the admin fee if we
are able to fully re-book your cancelled dates
Less than 7 days notice of scheduled arrival time: the
full amount is payable and the balance will be charged
to your credit card. If we are able to fully rebook
your cancelled dates at the same total gross booking
amount including additional services, we will refund
your payment minus the admin fee and costs.
Failure to arrive or cancellation after arrival: Full
tariff is payable and the balance will be charged to
your credit card.
Communications with respect to cancellation or
transfers must be confirmed in writing (email -
enquiries@araluenlodge.com.au) and must be
acknowledged by Management.
GROUP BOOKINGS
All group booking enquiries need to made directly to
the property by calling +61 411 242 212. Group booking
terms and conditions are supplied in a group quote.
These terms need to be agreed to on confirmation of
booking.
WEDDING ACCOMMODATION
If you have booked Araluen independently for your
wedding accommodation, please kindly call the property
as courtesy so we are aware. We require notification
of any third party suppliers, that are NOT included in
the reservation, to report to Reception so we can
check validity of their Certificate of Currency (Legal
Liability Insurance). For example hair and make-up
artists, photographer, florist, car hire operators etc
GENERAL
We do not receive a signed booking confirmation from
guests that book via our website or by calling.
If you are not happy or disagree to the above
cancellation or terms & conditions policy, you
have 36 hours from the time of booking to cancel the
booking without penalty. Cancellation policy will then
be enforced for any cancellation requests post 36
hours.
The above cancellation policy is visible for you to
read if booking online via our website.
If booking by phone you will receive notification with
your booking confirmation via email.
OCCUPANCY RESTRICTIONS
The maximum occupancy per villa is 3 adults or 2
adults and 2 children (under 10 years). A child over
this age is classified as an adult.
The maximum occupancy per lodge room is 2 adults.
Parents to take full responsibility for children
around the property damn, which is not fenced and for
the overall treatment of the property grounds and
rooms. Any damage caused will be on the onus of the
accompanying adult.
MINIMUM NIGHT STAY
We have a 2 night minimum stay in villas at all times.
PLEASE NOTE CHILDREN AND INFANTS CANNOT BE
ACCOMMODATED IN THE LODGE UNLESS PRE-APPROVED OR
PART OF A GROUP BOOKING. CHILDREN AND INFANTS CAN BE
ACCOMMODATED IN VILLAS.
Pets are not permitted on the property.
